Best acne and acne scar removal and at home acne remedies

Unsweetened lemon or plain water, either hot or cold, should be drunk and nothing else. During this period, a warm water enema should be taken daily to cleanse the bowels and all other measures adopted to eradicate constipation.Hormonal preparations have also been found useful in the treatment of acne. The contraceptive pill is used only if the patient has not improved with antibiotics treatment. Anti-androgens are also used sometimes. A note of caution is that these drugs should be used by women only, as they have unpleasant side-effects in men.
Active ingredients in creams also may make a difference in the type that is chosen to combat acne. The most common active ingredient found in acne creams is benzoyl peroxide. The amount in the cream should be small for mild to moderate acne, because too much of this can dry out the skin and lead to other complications later on. Most creams in stores are about 2 or 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. For more severe acne, a higher concentration, such as a 10% solution may be recommended by a dermatologist. Alcohol is another common ingredient. Much like benzoyl peroxide, you will find this in your acne creams in very minute amounts because using it too much in the cream would dry out the skin. It is important to know that you should always try acne treatments on a small portion of skin because their is a chance that your skin may be allergic to the chemicals within the acne cream.
Is there anything you can do for yourself that DOESN'T involve putting various concoctions on your face? If you're a woman, check your makeup, and try to avoid products containing lanolins, isopropyl myristate, sodium lauryl sulphate, laureth-4 and red dyes. Rinse your makeup off thoroughly every night and wash with mild soap twice a day.
